About the Jobs
Work in the greenhouse primarily involves cutting flowers, making bouquets and arranging flowers. Key duties include:
- Flower Cutting: Workers harvest flowers at the right time to ensure their freshness and quality. Proper cutting techniques must be used to avoid damaging the plants.
- Preparation for Sale: After cutting, flowers are sorted and classified by quality, size and color. It’s important to ensure the flowers are properly protected to prevent damage.
- Bouquet Making: Workers create various floral arrangements, such as bouquets and wreaths for different occasions.
- Flower Arranging: After bouquet making, flowers must be arranged in containers or on shelves to make them attractive for customers.
- Plant Care: In addition to harvesting, workers are often responsible for plant care in the greenhouse, which includes watering, fertilizing and monitoring growth conditions.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
In case of larger orders, overtime may be required.
Job offer requirements:
- Availability to work for at least 6-12 months.
- Motivation to work: Overtime and Saturday work may be required during busy periods. During quieter periods, willingness to work for other clients is expected.
- Couples and friends are not guaranteed to work in the same department or shift. Work schedules are assigned individually.
- Candidates who start from September onwards are expected to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
- No contraindications to working in temperatures between 15°C and 35°C.
- No allergies to pollen, grass, or plants.
