The company is equipped with modern, computer-controlled sewing machines, cutting machines, cutting tables and upholstery tools. Additionally, BMS specializes in reupholstering or repairing individual furniture pieces for trains, trams and buses of the Dutch railways.
About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Renovation, repair or replacement of upholstery (in trains, trams, buses, etc.) and furniture
- Dismantling and assembling parts for upholstery replacement
- Operation of tools
- Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job offer requirements:
- Availability to work for at least 3-6 months.
- Motivation to work: Overtime and Saturday work may be required during busy periods. During quieter periods, willingness to work for other clients is expected.
- Couples and friends are not guaranteed to work in the same department or shift. Work schedules are assigned individually.
- Candidates who start from September onwards are expected to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
- Manual skills and precision: Experience working with leather materials and upholstery tools is required.
