About the Jobs
The work at Daan Kromhout & Zn. BV focuses on logistics operations related to loading and unloading trucks, primarily for wholesale deliveries and shipments. Key tasks include:
- Loading Goods: Preparing and securing floral, decorative and other materials for transport. Ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Unloading Deliveries: Receiving shipments, verifying their quantity and quality and placing them in the warehouse per company standards.
- Forklift Operation: Depending on the job structure, tasks may include operating equipment such as forklifts to handle heavy loads efficiently.
- Warehouse Logistics: Organizing warehouse space to ensure products are easily accessible and safely stored. This may involve sorting items by category (e.g., seasonal, floral, decorative).
- Documentation: Collaborating with the logistics and warehouse departments to document loading and unloading activities, verify shipping lists and confirm deliveries.
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Job offer requirements:
- Availability to work for at least 6-12 months.
- Motivation to work: During quieter periods, willingness to work for other clients is expected.
- Couples and friends are not guaranteed to work in the same department or shift. Work schedules are assigned individually.
- Candidates who start from September onwards are expected to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
- No physical work restrictions.
