- August: Work in the hall with machinery for planting hyacinth bulbs:
- During this period, work involves operating machines for automatic planting of hyacinth bulbs. This is intensive work that requires precision to plant the bulbs in the correct spots and quantities. Tasks may also include overseeing the machines, replenishing the bulbs and quality control of the seedlings.
- October – March: Repotting flower bulbs from plastic containers into pots and decorating them with moss:
- During this period, work takes place mainly indoors. The bulbs are repotted manually or semi-automatically from trays (large containers) into pots and then decorated with moss. This task requires precision as the plants must be properly arranged in the pots and the moss needs to be arranged aesthetically. During this time, long working hours can be expected due to the intensity of the season.
- April – May: Work in the field with picking and “boshing” tulips:
- In the spring, work moves outdoors to the fields. Tasks include manually picking tulips and “boshing” them, which means tying the flowers into bunches or preparing them for transport. Fieldwork can be physically demanding and is often done in changing weather conditions, requiring good physical condition and endurance.
This work, both in the hall and in the field, is intense, especially during the planting, repotting and harvesting seasons. Therefore, employees need to be prepared for long hours of work, often at a fast pace.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
Job offer requirements:
- No contraindications for outdoor work and work with plants/bulbs.
- Flexibility: In case of increased workload, overtime/working on Saturday is mandatory.
- Availability to work for a minimum of 3-6 months.
- Availability during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
