About the Jobs:
This work involves key tasks related to supporting the structure of the plant.
Main responsibilities include:
• Inserting sticks into pots: The sticks help support the orchid structure so that they grow in the correct form.
• Wrapping flowers around sticks: Carefully wrapping the flower stems around the sticks requires precision and caution to avoid damaging the plants.
• Clipping the plants: At the end of wrapping, special clips are used to stabilize the flowers in the pot.
Packing:
This work area focuses on preparing orchids for sale. Tasks include:
• Wrapping the product in foil: Flowers are gently wrapped in foil to protect them during transport.
• Labeling: Each product receives an appropriate label indicating the type of plant and producer information.
• Placing the packaged product on trolleys: The finished plants are placed on special carts for transport to customers or the flower auction.
Expedition:
In the expedition department, employees handle the final steps of preparing orchids for shipment. Main tasks include:
• Decorating the product: Plants may be additionally decorated to meet customer aesthetic expectations (e.g., special pot covers).
• Preparing orders for shipping: This includes assembling orders according to guidelines and preparing carts for transport.
Job offer requirements:
- Availability to work for at least 6-12 months.
- Motivation to work: Overtime and Saturday work may be required during busy periods. During quieter periods, willingness to work for other clients is expected.
- Couples and friends are not guaranteed to work in the same department or shift. Work schedules are assigned individually.
- Candidates who start from September onwards are expected to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
