About the Jobs
Work with flower bulbs in a production hall and greenhouse.
Work in the hall and greenhouse includes:
- Sorting bulbs: Employees are responsible for selecting flower bulbs based on quality. Sorting is done manually, assisted by machines.
- Planting bulbs in pots: This involves manual or machine-assisted planting of flower bulbs into pots, mainly in the hall or greenhouse.
- Preparing floral arrangements: Employees create decorative floral arrangements and compositions, which are then shipped to customers.
- Packing orders: This includes packing prepared bulbs and floral arrangements for shipment, ensuring they are secured for transport.
- Other tasks: Any additional work assigned by the supervisor, such as cleaning, warehouse duties, or maintaining production lines.
Additional Information:
Seasonal Tasks:
- July: Field work involving the identification and removal of diseased bulbs and flowers.
- July – August: Planting hyacinth bulbs in the hall, assisted by machinery.
- September – October: Planting bulbs in the fields using planting machines (called “plantkarze”).
- November – December: Creating decorative arrangements and floral compositions with hyacinths and other plants for holiday sales.
Expected Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 07:00/08:00 to 16:00/17:00. Overtime is mandatory during busy periods and may include work on Saturdays.
Job offer requirements:
- Availability to work for at least 6-12 months.
- Motivation to work: During quieter periods, willingness to work for other clients is expected.
- Couples and friends are not guaranteed to work in the same department or shift. Work schedules are assigned individually.
- Candidates who start from September onwards are expected to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
- No contraindications in working with flower bulbs
