About the Jobs

Position: Laboratory Technician

In this role, you are responsible for performing high-precision laboratory work, focusing on DNA/RNA extraction and the implementation of various PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) tests on incoming plant material.

Your key responsibilities include:
• Sample processing and DNA/RNA extraction:

Preparing incoming plant material (e.g., bulbs, tubers, leaf bags) and extracting DNA/RNA using standardized protocols.
• PCR testing:
Running PCR tests to detect plant pathogens and ensure quality.
Ensuring results are entered correctly into the laboratory database.
Assisting with routine tasks such as stock counting and general lab maintenance.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.

Job offer requirements:

Availability to work for at least 6-12 months.
Motivation to work: Overtime and Saturday work may be required during busy periods. During quieter periods, willingness to work for other clients is expected.
Couples and friends are not guaranteed to work in the same department or shift. Work schedules are assigned individually.
Candidates who start from September onwards are expected to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
