About the Jobs:

Work at Ruiten en Zn. B.V., C.A.A. van takes place in two stages, depending on the time of year:

From mid-February to April, the work involves various tasks inside the hall and greenhouse. The main duties during this period are:

Sorting flower bulbs – Employees select flower bulbs (such as tulips and daffodils) based on their size and quality. The bulbs are then prepared for planting or packing.
Planting flower bulbs – The next stage of work is planting these bulbs, both manually and with the help of machines.
Arranging bouquets – In the hall, employees also arrange bouquets of flowers, mainly tulips and daffodils. This is precise work requiring an aesthetic combination of flowers into bouquets intended for sale.

From mid-April onward, the work moves primarily outdoors, where employees focus on harvesting flowers (tulips) directly from the fields. This is an intense harvest period, during which plants are hand-picked to ensure the highest quality. The harvested flowers are then transported to the facility, where they are sorted and prepared for sale.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 17:00.

Working conditions: Work in the field – working conditions depend on the prevailing weather conditions. Work in the production hall and greenhouse with a temperature of 5-27°C.

Important: Workwear must be suitable for the weather forecast (e.g., additional raincoat and appropriate footwear may be required).

Job offer requirements:

Availability to work for at least 6-12 months.
Motivation to work: Overtime and Saturday work may be required during busy periods. During quieter periods, willingness to work for other clients is expected.
Couples and friends are not guaranteed to work in the same department or shift. Work schedules are assigned individually.
Candidates who start from September onwards are expected to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
