About the Jobs
Department 1: Laboratory
In the HilverdaFlorist laboratory, work focuses on controlling the quality of plants, which is crucial in the production process. Scope duties includes :
- Checkups : Regular health tests of plants to ensure they are free from diseases and pests.
- Quality control : Checking whether the plants grown meet established quality standards.
- Testing and analysis : Conducting various tests to monitor plant growth and meeting production requirements.
Estimated working hours : Work in the laboratory takes place from 6:00/7:00 to 16:00. Overtime is required only during the season (April-June and December-February).
Department 2: Hall / Greenhouse
In this department, work covers a wide range of activities related to the cultivation, processing and preparation of plants for shipping. The scope duties this :
- Selection and planting : Selection of the best seedlings, their planting and care in greenhouse conditions.
- Plant splitting : Division of plants for the purpose of further propagation and cultivation.
- Labeling and packaging : Labeling and packaging of ready-made seedlings for shipment, preparation of orders.
- Quality Control : Ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
- Ancillary work : Carrying out any other work related to the production process in greenhouses.
Estimated working hours : The greenhouse department is open from 7:00 to 16:30. During the season (December to June) work may start earlier, even from 6:00/6:30. Overtime is possible during the season, depending on the intensity of work.
Job offer requirements:
- Availability to work for at least 6-12 months.
- Motivation to work: During quieter periods, willingness to work for other clients is expected.
- Couples and friends are not guaranteed to work in the same department or shift. Work schedules are assigned individually.
- Candidates who start from September onwards are expected to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
- No contraindications to working in temperatures between 15°C and 27°C. Temperatures may be higher during spring and summer.
