About the Jobs

1. Production (Packaging):

This department focuses on classifying flower bulbs by size, quality and type. Sorting is performed using machines that measure bulb size, a key determinant of market value and planting suitability.

Quality Sorting: Removing damaged, diseased or infected bulbs to ensure only healthy bulbs are exported.
Size Sorting: Categorizing bulbs by size, affecting their price and purpose (e.g., retail sales or professional gardening).
Once sorted, bulbs are packaged according to client requirements:
Bulk Packaging: Packing bulbs in large bags or crates, often containing hundreds of bulbs, mainly for wholesale clients like nurseries or garden centers.
Retail Packaging: Packing bulbs into smaller containers with colorful labels and planting/care instructions for consumers.
Tasks
- Sorting and peeling flower bulbs.
- Cutting and preparing bulbs.
- Packing bulbs.
Machine Operator duties:
- Operating and supervising machinery for bulb sorting and packaging.
- Ensuring efficient and high-quality production according to established standards.
- Inspecting products for quality compliance.
- Following safety instructions and procedures.
- Maintaining workplace cleanliness.
Estimated Working Hours:
- 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.

2. Logistiek (EPT Operator)

Loading products onto trucks (loading/unloading delivery vehicles) using EPT (Electric Pallet Truck).
Picking and assembling orders.

Estimated Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

3. Collection

Assembling orders.
Inspecting orders.

Estimated Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

4. Printing

Preparing product information labels, including variety names, production dates and planting instructions.
Operating label-making machinery.

Estimated Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Job offer requirements:

Availability to work for at least 3 months.
Motivation to work: Overtime and Saturday work may be required during busy periods. During quieter periods, willingness to work for other clients is expected.
Couples and friends are not guaranteed to work in the same department or shift. Work schedules are assigned individually.
Candidates who start from September onwards are expected to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
